I go by Kenji, and although this journal has been around for a long time with little growth or decrease in friends, for those that don't know me or are new, welcome to the show.

I update semi-randomly and sort of frequently, but I've been busy lately so I don't really get a chance to update like I used to. I'm no longer a student, and I hold a BA and MA in English Literature. I'm currently teaching at the college level, mostly composition courses but also the occasional lit course. I'm planning to start my PhD. next year.

My journal is not really a manga blog or a daily life journal, it's just anything I choose to update it with. I don't really partake in fandoms or in other childish LJ drama, so if you want to bring some here please go hang yourself.

I'm something of a manga connoisseur, although honestly I've read so much stuff now that I can't really say I have any special favorites or specific types that I really like. If you feel inclined to track something down, though, Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service, Excel Saga, Hayate the Combat Butler, and Keroro Gunso are great series.
